A Remembrance Wish for Peace

During our trip to Japan, we spent December 31 at Hiroshima, and a sombre afternoon at Hiroshima National Peace Memorial for the Atomic Bomb Victims.

We discovered a difference between war memorials in Japan and those in western nations. While we remember, try not to forget and remember our glorious dead, the Japanese focus on world peace.

It’s a lesson from which we all can learn.

Favorite Workout on the Planet

Our favourite workout on the planet is Sulphur Mountain in Banff, AB.

It’s vigorous. But well worth the effort.

You get excellent exercise as you climb your way the top. The views are spectacular. The gondola takes you back down the mountain. And there’s a special treat waiting for you when you get there.
