Full Fairing and the Prairie
Grain elevators, endless views, agricultural splendor and great big sky

On a trip back from western Canada, I was very thankful for the protection of a full fairing (large windshield and side protection) on my Honda Gold Wing. It meant my jeans, shins and face didn’t take a beating during grasshopper season. And it means we can ride in a range of weather conditions. If you’ve ever been hit in the face by a raindrop at 100 kilometres per hour (about 60 miles per hour), you know exactly what I mean.

On our way back, Julie couldn’t resist taking a few photos of the prairie, which is beautiful in its own right.
